Yee Ha!

So today was full of fun and games as Kris, Julie, Tara, my mom and I went all the way down to Niagra to go horseback riding. The moment we got there we headed into town to get a bite to eat and noticed many people walking down the road, driving in there car knawing on there hands! It was a strange site to see as we definatly were in some sort of hick town. Luckily close by we found a Harveys where we all enjoyed a nice meal.

Driving back to the ranch only took about 10 minutes. We signed in, paid our fee and hit up a nice game of mini putt. I think Kris actually won, we were all trying to keep count in our heads becasue we didnt actually have a score card. The game only took about 15 minutes. It was a nice way to keep time going instead of standing still waiting for our horses to arrive.

We all got up on are horses and headed off down a trail, Just when I thought the ride had started the owner came running out with a big whipping stick for me. Apparently Candy (My horse) Had a tendancy to go slow, however the whole ride I thought she was perfect. The ride lasted two hours with lots of ups and downs.... litrally there was alot of hills lol. We rode in some water and had the tour guide Toney take our pictures. I wont go on to much about it as I have to meet all of you at Brydens in about a hour. The one thing I will say though, It was just nice to have that sense of freedom. Being on a horse is the most relaxing thing I could ever do. Hopefully one day I will get the chance to have my own.
Thats all for now. Enjoy the rest of the pics!

O CANADA

So Ive been in Canada now for about three weeks and thought id share some good times ive had so far. Its pretty late as im typing this so pay no attention to the spelling or grammer as I really dont care how it looks! lol

Ok so the plane ride in was horrible, I sat next to some guy who had bad B.O but for the most of it was really nice. I got stuck behind a freakishly tall women who was wearing her hair like Marge Simpson which made it hard for me to see the tv sceen, two elderly people who were chair pullers and kickers... and to put the cherry on top a screaming baby three rows down. After all the delays which equaled up to 9 hours I finally got home and had a good nights rest.

So my holiday started off nicely with an 'All You Can Eat' girls night out! Thats right boys pillow fights, dirty movies.. the works!!! HA IN YOUR DREAMS. Although Julie, Sara and I had planned a awsome night out clubbing, we were all recked from work and decided to get ourselves each our very own tub of ice cream, some scary movies and some strange jelly candies. We did each others nails, wrapped our feet in seran wrap. We each even had our very own pair of fuzzy socks to put over the seran to seal the deal!

The night was a blast, lots of funny stories but funny stories and parties always happen at a Galipeau's house (Julie I know its not your last name but your soo close to being there haha) Kris and Julie had a summer themed party. Unforutnalty I was sick but decided to make a surpise appearence anyway. I met Stans wonderful girlfriend Vero, Julies parents and friends and had my own little incounter with mrs and mr Galipeau as well.

Things have been great all in all. Ive been working hard at subway while trying to get everyone and everything in while im here. Last night a bunch of us went to DnB. I won this strange glow up ball. It smelt really bad but it was worth every one of my tickets. I ended up eating some of Trevors cheese cake that night as well :) he is such a sweetie, and Warren gave me more points for his card becasue I was out. I also got a free ice tea from the waiter. I wish I was always that lucky! I introuced my good friend Tara to the rest of the gang and got my hands into a little ski ball! The night was great even though I got home at one.

Im coming to a close now as Im stupid tiered and ive just noticed I sound like a three year old with horrible sentence structure. So here goes. Today I went to Phils rents boat. It was my family and his takin 'The Two of Us' (boats name lol) out to Boisoleai island. We had a wonderful picnic when we got there and I then disovered that I like Cucomber! Who knew it wasnt just for your eyes and skin.
We ended up going for a walk, I trailed behind as I was taking pics of things left right and center when BOOOOO Right there, right to the side of me was a HUGE Rattle Snake. It scared the bajebers out of me. I made a pretty big fuss that the adults came over to me as fast as they could. My dad took a picture of it and I got a pat on the back for my sheer dumb luck on finding the snake. (Pics will come soon of him) We walked to the big chair, paddled in the water and headed to the indian burial ground.
It was some time before we got back home but all in all a wonderful day.

Gerald

I got a mouse, who lives inside my house. I dont know why I call him Gerald!
Shortly after we lost the hamster to the walls of doom, a little field type mouse decided our digs were just his style. He visits us every night and is getting braver every time. Unfortunatly he gets louder as well!
Usually we feed him the left over hamster food we have lying around, bread crusts and a nice dish of water but ocasionally we give him yummy treats like carrots and apples. The night before I left we discovered Gerold likes to get into Candy. He ate through the bottom of one of our Chewits candies (they are like Starburst) and made a brilliant attempt to devour the whole package. Luckily for Geralds sake he barelly made it through the first wrapper and only got a bit to taste.

Well thats my Gerald for yea, perfect pet. Comes by once a night, and yet theres no responsibility involved.

and so completes A Megans Perspective

Subway:The Next Generation

So the strangest thing occured to me today while I listened to the banter of Subways new teeny bopper team. While rants about there underage drinking and staying out past their curfew stirred up in the air I suddenly realized I had become the cameo star for Subway 'The Next Generation'. I was the call back, the first main star that captured the hearts of the origional fans. I felt like I was thrown into a script full of major drama and moreover I felt old. Were we all like that at that age? Do you guys remember a time when you would stay out late and break curfew only to have your parents spit down your throat! Ah to be young again!

I guess thats all I really have to say for now. Updates soon

Window Views

Hey guys

I know its been a while but we have just been sorting everything out with our new apartment! So far things have been very relaxing for me. I wake up, make sure everything is clean and scrubbed and then I go for a 2 hour walk/jog along the water. I know now that when I buy my first house it has to be by water! Its an amazing view and something I will never forget!
Anyone wanting to share the view feel free to come join us in England!

Enjoy the photos

Home and Away

Most of you know by now that today is the big day for Phil and I. Whats that you ask? Well for the ones that dont know, Phil and I are moving into our own Flat! Rented of course as the prices down here are stupid, but none the less our own. The place we will be living in is very remote not much to do which will leave me great excuses to walk along the beach or take a jog at my leisure. I like to refer to tis place as Hedge Land. There are no pubs, 1 post office, 1 bakery and 1 co op. Our backyard view is the beautiful Welsh mountains followed by the Severn river which is absolutly beautiful. We are directly on the waterfront which is definatly something different.

Our place is small but spacious and welcomes anyone who wants to expierence life in a whole different way. Of course we couldnt stay in the hedges all the time. We would grow old too fast! So we choose to work in the city and find we will be able to benefit from both natures.

Please check out my blog for future pictures. We will unfortunatly lack internet access untill they move it over, however we will be back tomorrow to get more of our stuff, and we will load some pictures in as well!

Take care everyone
Megs
